The 1927 Summer House of the Jewish doctor and president of the Berlin Medical Association Dr. Alfred Alexander is one of the early testimonies of the first weekend houses in Groß Glienicke in the 20th century. The Alexander Haus tells the almost one hundred year old German story about the fate of five families, which can be read in the book "Sommerhaus am See" by T. Harding. In addition, the Alexander-Haus e.V. celebrates its 10th anniversary on that day.

Das 1927 erbaute Sommerhaus des jüdischen Arztes und Präsidenten der Berliner Ärztekammer Dr. Alfred Alexander ist eines der frühen Zeugnisse der ersten Wochenendhäuser in Groß Glienicke im 20. Jahrhundert. Das Alexander-Haus erzählt die fast einhundertjährige deutsche Geschichte über das Schicksal von fünf Familien, die im Buch „Sommerhaus am See“ von T. Harding nachgelesen werden kann.
Zudem feiert der Alexander-Haus e.V. an dem Tag sein 10-jähriges Bestehen.

11:10 a.m.: Reading with Lucia Gail from the children's book "The House by the Lake"
11:30 a.m.: Guided Tour
12:00 p.m.: Concert by the young band "Toolose" from Kladow
12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Painting at the fabric installation "Berlin Wall"
12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Introduction of our partner organization DialoguePerspectives e.V. in the wooden pavilion, including small workshops every 30 minutes. This association is dedicated to promoting a pluralistic society and implementing impactful civil society programs that address current and future questions.
12:30 p.m.: Words from Vivien Lewis (daughter of Elsie Alexander) and Peter Sussmann (son of Bella Alexander)
1:00 p.m.: Guided Tour
1:30 p.m.: 'The Fab 4' - 4 refugee girls showcase their own acrobatics performance
2:00 p.m.: PREMIERE: Theater performance "FAIRYTALES FROM UKRAINE" featuring Ukrainian fairy tales in three languages, directed by Annerose Schreiner, cast: Mariia Vanieva and Kateryna Kravenchko.
3:00 p.m.: Guided Tour
4:00 p.m.: Concert in the Meisel Hall with Noah Lakmes & Friends
5:00 p.m.: Guided Tour ..

12:00 - 15:00 Uhr: Malen an der Stoffinstallation "Berliner Mauer"
12:00 - 15:00 Uhr: Vorstellung unseres Kooperationspartners DialoguePerspectives e.V. im Holzpavillon, inklusive kleiner Workshops im 30-Minuten-Takt. Dieser Verein engagiert sich für eine pluralistische Gesellschaft und setzt wirkungsorientierte zivilgesellschaftliche Programme um, die sich mit aktuellen und zukünftigen Fragen befassen.
